Fascinating whether or not The Court is actually in session! Cage & small exhibition area a hidden gem adjacent to Westminster Abbey.
I love the smell of hot justice being dispensed in the morning.
Always interesting to see law in action or just the empty law venue. Airport style security to enter. Brain sapping heat in all the courtrooms, perhaps the justices could discuss how to reduce the UK state's estate vast contribution to global warming. Hint: turn the thermostats down a lot. Assured and distinguished Edwardian construct decorated with ornate carvings, all in an outstanding state of repair, a showcase for early 20th.Century craftsmanship and mastery of technique. Guided tours, free displays, a cafe and trial attendance all within the realm of the possible. The buck stops here.
An amazing building. Free entry and you can watch cases from the gallery. The staff were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. There is a cafe downstairs with public toilets. The Supreme Court is a fascinating place and well worth a visit.
