Brought a shirt in for repair, the guy behind the desk made it clear they opened at 8am the next day which is great as I had a flight to catch and wanted that shirt. I turned up at 8am, by 8.20 the shop was still closed and I had to leave to get to the airport on time. Absolutely shocking service - dont say youre going to open at 8 and dont bother to turn up.
They did an exceptionally shoddy job on an item I left with them to be fixed. I mean, embarrassingly bad. When I complained, the man in there at the time got really irate and threatened to unstitch everything.
Gave my suit to the wrong person and consistently maintained this wasnt his fault. While the suit was returned (late) the management failed to accept this as being more then a computer issue. Pretty poor really, far better value in other places nearby.
We used the laundry service whist staying at the hotel across the road. They washed, dried and folded our laundry on the same day. Not as cheap as doing it yourself at a laundromat but happy to pay extra for the convenience
Left laundry to be done at this shop, quotes 20-30 for a same day service. When the laundry is taken in he then states it will be 60! We agreed just to get the laundry done properly - that as our mistake!Firstly ALL the clothes were returned to us wet, not a little bit wet, almost soaked. Then on unpacking the bag of laundry we discovered that numerous items were damaged beyond repair. The whites had clearly been washed with something that ran and numerous almost new items were stained badly. The resultant stains can't be removed. Also a number of items were washed incorrectly and shrunk. Other clothes looked like they hadn't been washed at all, just dumped in some water. Ane we were also missing a few items.When we returned, the owner was there and was told of the issues but he failed to respond with anything other than "I can wash them again". Sorry but that won't take the stains out or somehow find the missing items and it certainly won't unshrink the clothes, . When it was suggested that he provide us with a part-refund due to the fact that we now have to replace those clothes, he just pointed to some tiny paper on the wall and stated he didn't have to worry. If I could give no stars for this service I would have. Dodgy as hell.My advice: DON'T USE THIS PLACE - POOR CLEANING, NO CARE, NO RESPONSIBILITY, NO REFUNDS, AND BAD MANAGEMENT.
