A brilliant place, an impressive building, good facilities and helpful staff and most of all it's FREE. We are so lucky in London having some of the best museums and galleries in the world on our doorstep and we need to use them. I went for a photography exhibition which did have a cost, 11, but it was well worth it in a great setting. If you want to see the world's art, go Tate!
I had heard so much about this venue and finally managed to get to it (whist there were two enormous slugs draped over the entrance steps/front facade) in the Autumn. Underwhelmed is the politest word I can think of to describe the visit overall; we spent time viewing the exhibits, in the gift shop, and in the restaurant. My favourite activity was getting some photographs of the excellent spiral staircase.
Nice museum to spend an hour or two. Famous for Turner collection. For first timers, taking a free tour is recommended. Took the free tour for the weekend. It was interesting to hear the stories and history about the museum. Worth a visit.
Always something new & intersting to see here. Main areas free & pay for some exhibitions.Impressive building.Need quite a few hours to visit & comfy shoes.Good eating area & tasty food. Not cheap though.Near River Thames walks.
It's a peaceful and silent aura that carries you around these pieces. The space is larger than life, so you can feel all kinds of ways inside here. It's definitely one to spend a good 5 hours at, because there is a lot to take in at once. Maybe multiple visits is a thing and best of all it's FREE.
