Very beautiful! I quite appreciated the large print guides by the entrances so you can walk around and read about the things you're looking at without having to get within a centimeter of the plaque on the wall.

When I went there it was on display a collection symbolising the relations between Britain and Russia. There were many great items, the rooms were stunning, the paintings were quite a contrast to those in the National Gallery. I enjoyed the experience, though I would recommend one should go there after purchasing the London Pass since this is one of those attractions that I wouldn't deem essential and the price does add up in the end.

Both exhibitions seen, the Russian Royal Family and Shadows of War were excellent. Both well presented and informative. Worth a look.

Excellent venue with interesting exhibitions. Display of presents passing between the Royal families of England and Russia showing opulence to the point of vulgarity. Wanted to take home silver statuette of horse Persimmon but not allowed. So many sad female faces in arranged marriages. A few tantalising glimpses of serfdom and war.

Having in mind that you are in London, at. Buckingham Palace... And that VERY probably the Queen herself must fill up the tea bags and hand paint the tea sets... Prices are OK (spoiler alert: ironic). On the other hand, products are delicate, detailed and good quality. Not my cup of tea...
