Tremendously enjoyed our Windsor/Stonehenge/Bath tour this past week. Our guide Katya and driver Steve made the day smooth and memorable. The coach itself was quite comfortable, headsets for listening to Katya were great as we walked around. Lots of interesting commentary - Katya is clearly a highly experienced and intelligent guide. Even though a full day only gives you a small taste of these three attractions I would definitely say Evan Evans Tours was excellent value for money.
The tour guide and bus driver were awesome. My problem is with the main office. Windsor Castle was closed the day we went, but they had already charged us for the entrance fees. I was notified I'd need to request a refund for the entrance fees, which I did before the tour and was told I'd have to request the refund AFTER the tour. We did the tour, which ended after the office was closed. We left England the next day, so I contacted the office after returning home, and was told I'd have to either physically go into the office to request the refund, or call the offices. Because of where we live, phone calls are expensive and difficult. After my review here, they contacted me and found a way to get the money back to me. The tour was amazing - relaxing, stress free, and informative. Be aware there are hoops to jump through if for some reason you need a refund...
I took the Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath tour with Evan Evans Tours on January 18th. Our tour guide was David and our bus driver Mark, both of them really nice and funny people. David knew a lot of his craft, he gave us really detailed information about the places we went and even of places and buildings we passed through our trip. He speaks an amazing Spanish, and he gave information both in English and Spanish.Mark drives very good and in a very responsible way. I felt secure the whole time with him behind the wheel.This kind of tour is for everyone who doesn't have a lot of time to travel and wishes to see the highlights of the cities or places Evan Evans offer.I wish to thank David and Mark again! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!
Had a great time taking the tour bus around Windsor castle, Stonehenge & The Roman bath with my friends. Rhys was our tour guide, he done a great job explaining the history behind it and made us laughs all the time. Very entertaining tour guide! Also thanks to Elisa for transporting everyone safely back to London. The coach is being kept clean and the interior is quite cozy. Definitely enjoyed the trip!
I did the Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath Coach Tour today, December 29th. It was amazing. It is surely worth it, especially if you are only in London for a short amount of time.My guide was Rhys and driver was Mark. They were both great and made for an exciting day. Rhys was very wise and professional, and had so much wisdom and was open to so many questions. He gave great commentary! Mark safely transported us to every location, and was very polite.Also, Ive seen other reviews claiming that the tour is too rushed. Not only did the guide preface that it is a fast tour, so then, you should know that you DO NOT have a lot of time at the locations, but still get a great taste of all the locations! I feel like I saw so much and I am completely satisfied with everything. By the end of the day, I didnt even want to leave the coach! I highly recommend Evan Evans tours to get a great, informative, and quick tour, that still allows you to see so much.
