This place isn't for people who want to eat authentic Indian food. I ordered a Chicken dish, but tasted just bland. It's a club where different nationalities come together for dinner. Overall good ambience, good and helpful staff, but but expensive.
This restaurant is a little on the pricey side (okay okay its actually pretty expensive) but the food is very good and the service has been superb every time I have been. They regularly do promotions (like a set lunch menu or a pre-theatre early dinner promo) which make it a lot more affordable, so look out for those on their website.If you are around Westminster and fancy a very nice cup of tea (not your cheapest as I mentioned above) you can sit in their library and just relax (provided they havent booked it for an event in which case theyll direct you to their underground bar - which I personally prefer to avoid cause it has no natural light).
Food tasty, wine excellent. But at this price point the service will was somewhere between slow and atrocious. Lots of places offering as good Indian food at half the price and better service; similarly, plenty of places offering menus at this price which don't leave you wondering if you've been forgotten about and when you might get home.
Wonderful ambiance of this library-turned-restaurant will make your food taste fancy. And it is fancy. We went vegetarian this time around and were fully satisfied. Both the mushroom and the banana chili dishes were balanced and comforting yet exciting. Fried okra and a selection of naans and chutneys (not pictured) rounded up the delicious meal. Will visit again soon.
Had a great night at the cinnamon club. The staff was such a delight and the food was simply amazing. Would definitely recommend it to other people! Especially loved the poached pear dessert! Thank you Francis and your team for the great night :)
