The Goring Dinning Room sat within the hotel, provides a traditionally designed, yet very welcoming atmosphere. I had the lunch menu which for 52 provides three courses and the food was excellent. I started with the cured sea bream, followed by the saddle of roe deer, finishing with the gianduja ganache and ice cream. The sea bream was light in taste, but the deer and ganache desert were excellent. Id recommend the Goring for a corporate lunch or for a more traditional themed meal with family and friends.
Had afternoon tea with a friend and as always the service was absolutely amazing. The staff make you feel very special together with their warm and friendly custom. A place to be visited by all.

I have to say, possibly the best sunday roast I've ever had, but it doesn't stop there. Pretty much everything on the menu is delicious. I've been several times and yes it is on the slightly higher end price wise, but the quality and atmosphere exceed your final bill.Great for a business lunch or for simply a solid food experience. Plus the location is great. Just a few minutes walk from Victoria station.
We love meals at the Goring, dinner of course but especially nice to start a day with breakfast there. We decided to entertain a local guest there for breakfast just this morning. The service was shockingly poor - we needed to ask for more coffee, and kept declining to order until our guest arrived. Our guest arrived, ordered and our breakfasts came. Mine was incorrect but they offered to remake it. It came again 25 minutes later, all dried out, much after our guest had finished. Quite correctly, they took my cooked breakfast off the bill without being asked. However, we wanted to entertain our guest with a fantastic breakfast, not a cheap one. Terrifically disappointing.
