Extremely Convenient location. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Beautiful Lobby and Bar. Room was tired and dirty, not what you would expect from a Hilton Hotel. See photo of telephone.
Joanna, Service Front Office Supervisor, is very helpful and friendly. We had a problem to open the door of our room. She offered to change our room without our asking. Joanna said with a friendly smile that it is important to her that we had a happy stay. We enjoyed our stay in DoubleTree for 6 nights. And Joanna 's excellent service is a big reason.
This is a comfortable hotel in Westminster. It is convenient though the closest Underground station at Pimlico is about 700 m away. The hot chocolate chip cookie that handed to you at check-in is fun. It is an efficient, clean hotel. I missed having a couple of convenience stores close-by. But certainly a good hotel.
Just outstanding from the start. Great staff, all willing to take care of your every need. The bar is nice and quiet for that special occasion. Food is available and very tasty. The bar has a great selection of Gin. Rooms are a good size and comfortable. With a taxi always parked at the front door, sightseeing is easy.
The reception was lovely, very modernly decorated. Check in was swift. The staff were helpful and the warm cookie was a great extra. The room sadly was where the modern decor stop. The room was basic and tired looking, pine furniture and the desk chair looked used. The bathroom was tiny but functional. The room just screamed business. There was hardly any "comforts"Hot water runs out at peak times, I had a coldish shower around 8am both days. The gym is small but incredible views! Basic gym equipment but perfect for a work out while away from your normal gym, towels and water station we great.The hotel overall is very nice, it is definitely more suited towards a business clientele than the general public. The note from the house keeping was great and I would consider staying here again if I was down for work
